A former alcoholic recalls his reintegration into society through the assistance of the Vancouver Harbour Light Corps of the Salvation Army. Re-enacts the man's day-to-day existence on the streets of skid row, his drinking and panhandling, and his struggle to give up alcohol and regain his self-confidence. Highlights the spiritual and material support provided by the Harbour Light mission.
